Automatic account coding

First and most immediate use case. For every accounting entry derived from an invoice, the AI suggests the right SYSCOHADA account based on the description, the supplier and the history.

On recurring purchases (telecom, supplies, transport), suggestions get more reliable as history builds up. On new or ambiguous purchases, the AI proposes several likely accounts. The accountant validates in one click.

Time spent on coding, often the heaviest piece of accounting work, is reduced significantly.

Invoice OCR extraction

Smartphone photo or PDF received by email. In a few seconds the AI extracts every critical field (number, date, pre-tax / VAT / total amounts, supplier, due date) and pushes them into the accounting system.

On standard-quality invoices, extraction runs with no human intervention. On poor-quality invoices (blurry photos, exotic layouts), the AI flags uncertain fields for verification.

Anomaly detection

Duplicates (the same invoice keyed twice under different references). Unbalanced entries. VAT mismatched against the applicable rate. Balances drifting from history. Invoices with no associated PO when 3-way matching applies.

Approval recommendations

For every pending purchase request, the AI suggests a recommendation: approve, reject, ask for clarification. The recommendation cross-references several signals: remaining line-item budget, supplier history, PO compliance, declared urgency.

The decision-maker receives the recommendation alongside the request, which speeds up the decision and makes it better-informed.

Dynamic supplier scoring

The AI continuously computes each supplier's performance score across 4 axes (lead time, compliance, responsiveness, price). It raises an alert when a supplier degrades significantly, opening a conversation before the problem becomes a crisis.

It also suggests which suppliers to shortlist first for a new purchase, based on category, amount and history.
